The tapestry of Aubusson recognized worldwide

Less than 25 minutes by car from the Domaine de Louveraude, the discovery of AUBUSSON is necessary if only to understand how AUBUSSON became the world capital of Tapestry and why UNESCO, in 2019, has inscripted Aubusson tapestry on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity... For six centuries, tapestries have been woven in Aubusson. The purity of the hollow water, sheep wool, dye plants and an existing textile activity have probably facilitated the installation of the first weavers.
